How Far can you Push?

When we push too far in one direction, nature gently guides us back, like a pendulum finding its way to stillness. The rhythm of the cosmos, the earth, and our very cells are intricately woven together, moving in harmony. We are not separate from the world around us—we are an extension of it, flowing with its cycles, always seeking balance and wholeness.

We see this in all areas of life and we are seeing this play out big time at the moment as our world feels out of synch!

  • It is obviously showing up in the form of major weather events as Mother Nature tries to find balance. As I write this we are still steeped in cloud waiting for the sun to return after the remnants of Tropical Cyclone Alfred pass.
  • Just like Mother Earth our bodies let us know clearly if something is not right with uncomfortable symptoms or debilitating diseases if we allow the pendulum to swing too far with health and lifestyle imbalances.
  • In the same way the huge left-right sway of political antics affects the whole world and is so revved up and uncertain at the moment.

So where is all this leading?
What does it mean?
And most importantly, what can we do about it?

The first step I believe is to bring your awareness out of your mind and into the safe realm of the heart. Feel into what is right for you … what rings true … and what your next step might be.

When we slow down and step out of the confusion, contraction and delusion of the mind, there is a world of possibilities waiting for us. We can’t reach or even fathom these possibilities when we are captive to the fear based narrative of politicians, naysayers or our own minds.

Since the cyclone, wrapped in the howling wind and torrential rain, I have felt an unshakable sense of peace and gratitude. Here at Wind Spirit we are still in cloud but we are warm, dry, and safe. We shared this space with a beautiful neighboring family, two little ones, their parents, and their grandmother, riding out the storm together in the embrace of community. With no internet, barely any phone reception, but plenty of solar power, fresh water, and love, we cooked up a storm, shared stories, and found comfort in togetherness.

And as a dear friend reminded me, Archangel Michael is standing guard on our roof. …. and remember, he’s standing on yours too!

All is well in our world.
