Reclaiming the One Thing We Can Control: Our Health

In this ever-shifting world, in these chaotic times, so much is beyond our control. We can’t dictate the actions of others, stop life’s sudden turns, or guarantee smooth paths ahead. Storms come … sometimes gentle, sometimes wild … and we’re reminded again and again that control is an illusion.

But amid the chaos, there is one path we can tend to: our health.

When we choose to live in alignment with nature’s principles … nourishing our bodies with living foods, drinking clean water, moving with purpose, resting when needed … we reclaim our power. Through simple, consistent practices like gentle fasting, whether that’s intermittent, or a juice day a week, or a deep water fast… including  daily deep breathing, natural detoxification practices, regular movement, and surrounding ourselves with kind souls, we create harmony inside, no matter what’s happening outside.

This isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s about honouring the vessel we live in. Our bodies are wise. They speak in subtle ways with aches, fatigue, emotions… and when we listen with love, they guide us back to balance.

We may not control the world. But we can rise each day and choose foods that heal. We can stretch under the morning sun. We can pause, breathe, and say no to what drains us. We can walk barefoot, drink spring water, and laugh with those who see us.

Health is not a trend. It’s our birthright. And in nurturing it, we find calm within the storm.
